There's also the lost love epic,

Boy finds girl, boy loses girl,

and the defiant (and loosely translated!) one from Edith Piaf,

No, I don't regret a thing.

There's the Roman who said,

I came, I saw, I conquered,

Or my alternative love triangle tale,

She came, I saw, he conquered.

But now that it's autumn my favourite is,

I came, I saw, I conkered.
